Stupendous mid January weekend already underway! A few high clouds for possible sunrise and sunset enhancement is always nice. Low to mid 70s with a lot of sunshine through tomorrow. Increasing clouds for MLK Day and still quite warm with a high in the mid 70s. No rain expected. Just unicorns and rainbows. (wait. no rainbows because no rain) Sunshine returns for the most part on Tuesday low 70s. A slight chance for a shower (good luck with that) on Wednesday upper 60s. Sunny upper 60s Thursday and Friday. Enjoy!

Forecast for Friday, January 17, 2020

It’s Friiidaaay!!!

Rain yesterday adding up to .17″ at the official rain gauge at the airport. .23″ now for the month and the year which is .25″ below average. The year is still young and thanx to yesterday even a bit wet behind the ears! No rain in sight currently. The Sun is returning to us today, but we’ll see an increase in clouds as we go through the weekend into next week. Temperatures will be quite nice if you’re into that sort of thing. Let’s try to predict the future with guidance from the National Weather Service (your taxpayer dollars at work) shall we? Yes. Let’s!

Sunny today with a high in the mid 60s. Mostly clear tonight upper 30s. Mostly sunny tomorrow low 70s. Partly sunny Sunday low 70s. Mostly cloudy for MLK Day low 70s. Partly sunny Tuesday low 70s. Mostly sunny Wednesday upper 60s. Sunny Thursday mid 60s. Enjoy!

Forecast for Thursday, January 16, 2020

Happy Friday Eve! (it makes the weekend seem closer) The clouds have arrived and we are still expecting a bit of rain. The National Weather Service is back to thinking a quarter inch or less total with the bulk of the showers occurring late this afternoon into this evening. Snow levels way high so mainly rain in Summerhaven with perhaps just a bit of snow at the end of the event. Warming up for a fine weekend! Rain chances may increase by Tuesday of next week but we’ll burn that bridge when we get to it!

Mostly cloudy today with a chance for light rain (half the calories of our regular rain) this afternoon and evening a high in the upper 60s and a low in the low 40s. Sunny tomorrow upper 60s. Mostly sunny Saturday low 70s. Partly sunny to mostly cloudy Sunday, MLK Day, and Tuesday low 70s. Mostly sunny Wednesday upper 60s. Enjoy!

Forecast for Wednesday, January 15, 2020

Mike Mike Mike Mike Mike. What day is it Mike? The day before the rains came… The National Weather Service is telling us that it looks like maybe up to a half inch of rain in parts of the metro perhaps maybe near you. (your individual mileage may vary. offer void where prohibited by law. NY residents add 6% sales tax. unretouched photograph. and other disclaimers) A storm off the northern California coast will head inland. The SW flow ahead of the storm should pull moisture northward into our neck of the woods, er, Saguaro forest. Clouds are already increasing and by tonight perhaps we will see some light rain. (half the calories of our regular rain) The best rain chances will be tomorrow into tomorrow night. (rain chances… you’re the best!) Then it’s all over. Sunny by Friday with a warm up just in time for the weekend! Here’s Mike Mike Mike Mike Mike with more…

Partly sunny today with a high in the mid 70s! A slight chance for light rain tonight near 50ish. A good chance for showers tomorrow into tomorrow night. Tomorrows high in the upper 60s. Sunny Friday upper 60s. Low 70s Saturday. Mostly cloudy Sunday low 70s. Mostly cloudy mid 70s MLK Day. Partly sunny low 70s Tuesday. Enjoy!

Forecast for Tuesday, January 14, 2020

Not as chilly (mmm chili) this morning, but for us thin-blooded Arizonans it’s still cold enough to grab the jacket this morning (and actually put it on). Starting in the low 40s right now, but a nice recovery this afternoon into the low 70s. A few high clouds for possible sunrise and sunset enhancement is always nice if it happens. Keep your iPhone/Samsung/Pixel/1+/Huawei (no. not Huawei)/flip phone handy!

Our next system approacheth with increasing clouds the next couple of dayz. Low 70s again tomorrow with more clouds (because that’s the definition of increasing clouds). Rain in here by Thursday into Thursday night. Rainfall amounts on the light side. Generally below .25″. Upper 60s Thursday with snow levels way up there. Sunny by Friday upper 60s. Near 70ish Saturday. Partly sunny Sunday low 70s. Mostly cloudy MLK Day low 70s. Enjoy!
