Forecast for Thursday, January 23, 2020

Happy Friday Eve! (makes the weekend seem closer) Someone alert the various Chambers (Chamberi?) of Commerces. It’s proverbial Chamber of Commerce weather for Tucson and environs. Some patchy fog this morning (hey, sometimes a cloud wants to hang out on the ground) and then it’s mostly clear sailing and other trite phrases. Enough butchering of the English Language! Let’s get to the forecast…

Patchy fog this morning otherwise a sunny day with a high in the upper 60s. Clear tonight low 40s. Mostly sunny tomorrow low 70s. Sunny Saturday and Sunday low 70s. Upper 60s Monday. Mid 60s Tuesday. Upper 60s Wednesday. Enjoy!

Forecast for Wednesday, January 22, 2020

Mike Mike Mike Mike Mike. What day is it Mike? It’s the day after it rained .38″ at the airport! Bringing our monthly and year to day total to .61″ which is just .02″ below average. Good job playing catch up! Some patchy fog out there this morning so keep an eye out (get it? eye patch? never mind) Drying out and warming up through the weekend. Let’s do this!

Patchy fog this morning otherwise a mostly sunny day today with a high in the low 60s. Mostly clear tonight upper 30s. Sunny upper 60s tomorrow. Low 70s Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Near 70ish Monday. Mid 60s Tuesday. Enjoy!

Forecast for Tuesday, January 21, 2020

I grew up in Oregon and my Dad would like to say, “Think it’ll rain?” Since we grow up to become our parents, (I love the saying. hate the commercials) I’ll ask you. Think it’ll rain?! Just Scotch Guard the kids and you’ll be fine! Yesterday we talked about how the forecast went from a slight chance of sprinkles to a chance for light showers. Reality is everyone is getting wet this morning. You get rain. And you get rain. And you get rain! That’s one thing I love about the weather. It can still surprise us! The system moves through today (like you trust anything I’m about to say 🙂 ) and the rain should end from west to east later this morning. Still a chance for showers throughout the day with decreasing clouds later tonight. Then it’s sunshine and butterflies with a warming trend through next weekend.

Rain this morning with a slight chance for showers this afternoon and a high near 60ish. A chance for sprinkles tonight becoming partly cloudy and a low in the mid 40s. Mostly sunny tomorrow mid 60s. Sunny upper 60s Thursday. Low 70s Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Upper 60s Monday. Enjoy!

Forecast for Monday, January 20, 2020

78 yesterday! Amazing.

Well that escalated quickly! We went from no chance of rain tomorrow to 40%, so the new thinking is maybe it’ll rain tomorrow! (those finicky computer models) Only .15″ or so expected in valley locales, so not exactly a good soaking. 1 to 4 inches of snow possible way up there above 8,000 feet. Then it’s back to mostly sunshine for the rest of the forecast. Particularly this:

Partly sunny and a bit breezy today with SE winds gusting over 20 mph and a high in the low 70s. Slight chance for rain tonight near 50ish. Best chance for rain will be tomorrow in the middle of the day with a high in the mid 60s. Mostly sunny Wednesday mid 60s. Sunny Thursday upper 60s. Near 70ish Friday. Low 70s Saturday and Sunday. Enjoy!

Forecast for Sunday, January 19, 2020

The forecast is all hat and no cattle. Bark, but no bite. Clouds without rain. I mean, we could see a sprinkle or a few drops, but if it happens it should only be enough to ruin your car wash. It’ll stay warm too. Any flakes that fly will be 8,000 or above. The system is outta here by Tuesday night and it will be slightly cooler in it’s wake, but nothing too crazy (but we’re never gonna survive unless, we get a little crazy) Now on with the countdown!

Mostly sunny today with a few high clouds for possible sunrise and sunset enhancement and a high in the mid 70s. Increasing clouds tonight upper 40s. Mostly cloudy tomorrow low 70s. Upper 60s Tuesday. Sunny mid 60s Wednesday. Upper 60s Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Enjoy!
