Forecast for Thursday, March 5, 2020

It’s Friday Eve! (makes the weekend seem closer) A dramatic warm up in our forecast with a return to the 80s. Tears for Fears, Michael Jackson, Bon Jovi, and Def Leppard to name a few. Spring is upon us as well with a couple of storm systems in the mix, you know, to keep things interesting.

Today’s story is “Bringin’ on the Heartbreak” with gusty east winds around 30 mph. But something happens and I’m “Head Over Heels”. Despite increasing clouds this afternoon a high near 80ish. Mostly cloudy tonight and mild with a low in the mid 50s. Tomorrow’s forecast would be a “Pretty Young Thing” if it weren’t for east winds gusting over 35 mph. Still a high in the low 80s. Low 80s on Saturday sans the wind!

Our next storm approacheth with a chance for showers Sunday near 70ish. Sunny Monday mid 70s. Another (stronger) storm in here for Tuesday/Wednesday with rain expected. Tuesdays high in the upper 70s. Mid 70s Wednesday. Keep it here for hits from the 70s, 80s, and today! Enjoy.

Forecast for Wednesday, March 4, 2020

Mike Mike Mike Mike Mike. What day is it Mike? It’s the day after the airport picked up a few hundreths of an inch of rain. That’s what day it is! We are still officially just over half an inch below average for 2020 so far. We may make some head way by the end of the weekend into next week with our next rain chances. Stay tuned for that. In the meantime we will see a rapid warm up as high pressure builds in along with gusty easterly winds. Thursday and Friday will be good days to fly a kite, or more likely, be one! The devil is in the details and here they are…

Sunny and nice today with a high in the low 70s. Clear tonight mid 40s. Mostly sunny windy and warm tomorrow with east winds gusting over 30 mph and a high in the upper 70s. Winds gusting over 30 Friday near 80ish! Sunny Saturday near 80ish. A chance for showers Saturday night into Sunday. Sunday’s high in the upper 60s. Mostly sunny Monday mid 70s. A chance for showers Tuesday mid 70s. Enjoy!

Forecast for Tuesday, March 3, 2020

A storm traveling through Sonora, Mexico is tossing showers northward. The rain and mountain snow that started yesterday evening should continue off and on today. Snow in them there hills. Not expecting a lot of rain or snow and those amounts go up as you go south. The storm leaves us by tonight with a quick warm up in our future. Since I didn’t give up trying to guess the weather for Lent, let’s see what happens…

Showers today with partly sunny skies otherwise and a high in the low 60s. Partly cloudy tonight low 40s. Mostly sunny tomorrow near 70ish. Upper 70s Thursday. Low 80s Friday! Near 80ish Saturday. Chance for showers Saturday night into Sunday. Low 70s Sunday. Sunny mid 70s Monday. Enjoy!

Forecast for Monday, March 2, 2020

I’m not saying the approachething storm is a lollygagger, but it is taking it’s sweet time. If rainy dayz and Monday’s always get you down then the delay in the onset of precipitation may work in your favor. Prime time for the storm is looking to be tonight. Also. The storm is not only late, but may track a bit further (farther?) to the south then originally thought. Still expecting rain and mountain snow around here, but the best chances and highest amounts will be closer to the border. Sunshine and a warm up returns starting Wednesday…

Increasing clouds today with a slight chance for showers this afternoon and a high in the mid 60s. Showers tonight low 40s. Lingering rain chances tomorrow otherwise partly cloudy near 60ish. Sunny Wednesday low 70s. Upper 70s Thursday. Low 80s Friday! Upper 70s Saturday. Slight chance for maybe a shower Sunday low 70s. Enjoy!

Forecast for Sunday, March 1, 2020

March is coming in like a Lamb. Out like a Lion in 29 days no doubt! Or so the saying goes. The Ancients knew…

A storm system approacheth. Currently moving southward along the California Coast. It should turn the corner once it gets to Baja California and head east tracking just south of the Mexican Border. Still expecting up to a quarter of an inch of rain in the valleys. Up to 6 inches of snow for Summerhaven. Snow levels could drop as low as 4,500 feet tomorrow night, but not much accumulation at that elevation bringing snow lovers some consternation 🙂 . Prime time for the storm should be tomorrow afternoon/night. Lingering showers Tuesday and then it’s back to the warmer Spring weather. Stay tuned!

Partly sunny and just a little bit breezy today. SW winds 5-15 mph so no biggie and a high in the low 70s. Decreasing clouds tonight low 40s. Showers likely by tomorrow afternoon/evening with a high near 60ish. Showers tomorrow night decreasing by morning. Perhaps some lingering rain Tuesday morning with an afternoon high in the low 60s.

Sunny Wednesday low 70s. Upper 70s Thursday. Near 80ish Friday and Saturday. Enjoy!
