Missed it by that much. Maxwell Smart’s girlfriend, Agent 99 (i’ve been waiting so long) tied the record high yesterday but failed to break the psychological barrier of 100. The first 100 degree day of the year will have to wait, but not for long, as our old pal high pressure flexes its proverbial muscles. An EXCESSIVE HEAT WATCH is in effect for Thursday, so be ready to go out and watch the excessive heat. Feels like Summer in April. Thanx Captain Obvious!

I wish it was Sunday… that’s my fun day… Oh wait. It IS Sunday! And. If the forecast comes true it will be the first 100 degree day in 2020. It’s not a lock. We could top out in the upper 90s, so there’s that. As you probably know, if we do hit 100 today it will be the third earliest first 100 degree day in the recorded weather history of Tucson. If we don’t. Then it won’t 🙂 Still hot either way you slice it. Getting hotter next week!

It’s Friiidaaay!!!
And it’s hot and getting hotter. The good news is pools are warming up. you might be tempted to jump in ice water with the first 100+ degree day only a day or two away. If we hit 100 tomorrow or Sunday it will be the third earliest first 100 degree day in Tucson recorded history. (if that makes sense) It’s gonna happen.
