Forecast for Wednesday, January 8, 2020

Some say snow is a four letter word. But what does the dictionary know! (for you kids under 30, a dictionary is a book full of words and their definitions) A few flakes flying in Catalina, and Corona de Tucson early Friday morning? It could happen as snow levels drop to 3,500 – 4,000 feet with our next system. The bad news (if you like snow) is that it won’t amount to much or anything. Maybe a dusting? Probably nothing to email home about, but, you are saying there’s a chance! It is worth staying tuned for…

Mostly sunny today with some high cloudiness for possible sunrise and sunset enhancement. High in the low 70s. Clear tonight upper 30s

Increasing clouds tomorrow as our storm approacheth. High in the mid 60s. Rain tomorrow night into early Friday morning with a low in the upper 30s. Sunny and cool Friday mid 50s. Freezing to start the day Saturday recovering into the low 60s. Low 60s Sunday and Monday. Upper 60s Tuesday. Enjoy!

Forecast for Tuesday, January 7, 2020

As my Dad says, “I’m a man of few words and I use them often.” Pretty straight forward forecast. You could read yesterday’s blurb or just read on. It’s pretty much the same… Increasing clouds as a storm misses us to the north and a second storm approacheth. Rain and mountain snow for Thursday night perhaps lingering into Friday morning. Then it’s back to the Sun for the weekend. Specifically this:

Mostly sunny today near 70ish. Mostly clear tonight upper 30s. Partly sunny mañana near 70 again. Partly cloudy Thursday mid 60s. Rain showers with mountain snow Thursday night into Friday morning then clearing skies. Friday’s high in the mid 50s. Sunny Saturday and Sunday low 60s. Near 60 Monday. Enjoy!

Forecast for Monday, January 6, 2020

Fairly quiet weather rules the roost right now. Highs slightly above the average high of 65 for this time year and pretty close to the average low of 39. Subtle changes through mid week before our next system brings us a chance for some rain and mountain snow Thursday night into Friday morning. One interesting note. Enough Tucsonans were heading up to Summerhaven to play in the snow yesterday that the Pima County Sheriff’s Office had to restrict traffic! Hopefully someone brought down a truckload of snow and built an Old Pueblo Snowman 🙂 Winter continues…

Sunny near 70ish today. Mostly clear tonight with a low near 40ish.

A couple of storms missing us to the north will increase our clouds the next couple of days for possible sunrise and sunset enhancement. (always nice) Mostly sunny near 70 again tomorrow. Partly sunny Wednesday upper 60s. Mostly sunny Thursday low 60s. A chance for rain Thursday night into Friday morning. Friday’s high in the upper 50s. Mostly sunny mid 60s Saturday and Sunday. Enjoy!

Forecast for Sunday, January 5, 2020

Pretty nice weather if you like 70s in January. I’m guessing the Snowbirds are on board! 70 yesterday with a couple of degrees added on this afternoon. A storm and then another storm missing us to the north will cool us down a bit as we get into the week. Then it’s a chance for showers and some mountain snow as the storm track tracks south. Details, details…

Sunny 72 today. Clear near 40ish by tomorrow morning. Upper 60s to near 70 tomorrow and Tuesday. Partly sunny for Wednesday upper 60s. A chance for showers starting Wednesday night into Thursday with a high near 60ish. A slight chance for showers Friday mid 50s! Sunny Saturday low 60s. Enjoyeth!

Forecast for Saturday, January 4, 2020

Gorgeous Winter Weekend! Sometimes it’s good to be above average. High pressure overhead for the weekend with warm (for this time of year) afternoons. Storms missing us to the north will start to bring the highs down a bit next week with a slight chance for showers by Friday. Time will tell so you might as well stay tuned!

Sunny today with a high in the upper 60s to near 70ish. Low 70s tomorrow. Mid 60s Monday. Upper 60s Tuesday. Partly sunny upper 60s Wednesday. Sunny low 60s Thursday. Slight chance for showers Friday upper 50s. Enjoy!
