Sometimes it’s good to be average. Lots of sunshine and not too hot for what is soon to be mid May. Breezy fo Sneezy throwin’ some pollen around, but otherwise kinda nice.

Sunny today with SW winds 10-20 mph gusting to near 30 and a high in the low 90s. Clear tonight mid 50s. Sunny tomorrow and not as breezy near 90ish. Low 90s Thursday and Friday. Mid 90s Saturday. Upper 90s Sunday. 99 (I’ve been waiting so long) Monday. Enjoy!

Forecast for Monday, May 11, 2020

Just another manic Monday! It was nice to have a few showers and storms about yesterday. Just .01″ officially at the airport, but that is better than a swift kick! (don’t ask me how I know that) Back to our regularly scheduled sunshine and temperatures actually close to average by mid week. A bit of a breeze the next few days, but perhaps more refreshing than a nuisance. Perhaps.

Becoming sunny today with a SW breeze 5-15 mph and a high in the mid 90s. Clear skies at night upper 50s. Low 90s tomorrow with a bit of a breeze. Near 90ish Wednesday and Thursday. Low 90s Friday and Saturday. Mid 90s Sunday. Enjoy!

Forecast for Sunday, May 10, 2020

No rain officially at the airport yesterday. If it’s gonna happen it’s gonna have to be today. Thankfully there is a 30% chance for storms this afternoon! Hopefully near you. Monsoon hasn’t kicked in yet, so moisture levels, while sufficient for scattered showers and storms, are still lacking. That means gusty winds near showers as some of the rain evaporates on its way down to the ground. Could get some dry lightning too. (sounds like a brand name for Moonshine) Back to a westerly flow bringing drier air starting tomorrow and not too hot.

Happy Mother’s Day! Maybe a shower or storm near you. Gusty dusty winds near showers, so watch out for tablecloths flying! (The NWS should issue a FLYING TABLECLOTH WATCH hashtag #justsayin) High this afternoon in the mid 90s. Slight chance for a lingering shower tonight low 60s.

Becoming sunny tomorrow low 90s. Low 90s Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday too. Mid 90s Saturday. Enjoy!

Forecast for Saturday, May 9, 2020

Increasing moisture is in turn increasing our slight chance for a storm or two this afternoon. An “increasing slight chance” might be a weird way to put it, but it fits. A rain shower would be nice and I hope it happens near you! If it happens it will likely bring a chance for dry lightning, gusty dusty winds, and it might rain mud. So there’s that. Slightly cooler than yesterday’s 100. Upper 90s this afternoon. Isolated storm chances increasing to 20% tonight with a low in the upper 60s. Best chance for storms tomorrow at 30% and a high in the mid 90s.

Sunny Monday mid 90s. Low 90s Tuesday. Near 90ish Wednesday! Low 90s Thursday and Friday. Enjoy!

Forecast for Friday, May 8, 2020

It’s Friiidaaay!!!

That escalated quickly! Moisture increasing from the south and southeast is bringing us a slight chance for storms today through much of the weekend! Moisture levels will be marginal for storms, but pretty good for early May! As a result some of that rain will likely be evaporating as it falls. That could lead to some gusty winds near showers, isolated blowing dust, and even some dry lightning. Triple digit heat is on hold for now and hopefully a storm near you!

Partly sunny today with virga possible this morning with a slight chance for storms this afternoon and a high in the upper 90s. Slight chance for storms tonight mid 60s. Slight chance for storms tomorrow and Sunday mid 90s. Drying out next week and not too hot. Mid 90s Monday. Low 90s Tuesday. Near 90ish Wednesday. Low 90s Thursday. Enjoy!
