(congratulations to Def Leppard for making it into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, but I digress…) Our second system misses us to the north with shower chances well to our north and east. Then it’s clearing skies and warming temperatures the second half of next week into the weekend.

Sure, a couple of systems will be cruising by, one to the south and one to the north, but no real chances of rain or mountain snow. Just keeping us from warming up too much. The second half of next week is a different story with high pressure building in and warming temperatures. Golfing weather on Christmas? or will a last minute storm save the day? or does golf shorts  and 5 irons on Christmas sound good to you? Stay tuned!

Forecast for Friday, December 14, 2018

It’s Friiidaaay!!!

A couple three systems are headed our general direction. The first giving us increasing high clouds today as it approacheth for possible sunset enhancement. As that low misses us to the north another misses us to the south as it moves through northern Mexico. Slight chance for a shower mainly in the mountains Sunday and Sunday night but nothing to email (or text) home about. Another system moves through Monday into Tuesday but again more clouds and coolness than actual rain or mountain snow (although there will be a slight chance for mountain snow). After all that a ridge of high pressure builds in through the end of next week with a return of the 70s. Rock On!

Mostly sunny today with increasing high clouds and a high in the upper 60s. Mostly cloudy tonight low 40s. Mostly cloudy tomorrow near 70ish. Partly sunny (mostly cloudy with a bit more Sun?) Sunday near 70. Mostly sunny Monday upper 60s. Mid 60s Tuesday. Sunny upper 60s Wednesday. Low 70s Thursday. Enjoy!

Call it mostly clear tonight with more chilly! mid 30s. Mostly sunny tomorrow upper 60s. Mostly cloudy Saturday as an upper level low lurks to our south. One computer models says maybe a little rain. Sunny Wednesday near 68ish. Enjoy!

Forecast for Wednesday, December 12, 2018

A system moving through the Four Corners today may kick up a WNW breeze this afternoon, but mostly it has already pushed yesterday’s cloud cover off to the south and east. Behind the low, well, baby, it will be cold outside, or at least chilly (mmm chili). No freezing temperatures expected, but you may want to keep the debit or credit card handy in case you need to scrap some frost off your windshield the next couple of mornings. Another disturbance in the force could give us a slight chance for a shower or two Sunday and again Monday night. Stay tuned!

Sunny today with a high in the upper 60s. Mostly clear tonight upper 30s. Mid 60s tomorrow and mid 30s tomorrow night. Upper 60s Friday.
