So far this October, we get to be the cool kids. Our coolness will get even cooler as we head through the weekend. Or maybe we’ll just be all wet. 😎

Sunny and warmer today with a high in the low 80s, but still below our average high of 87 for this date. (cool AND below average. it happens) Mostly clear tonight upper 50s.

Our Sergio surge begins tomorrow with his main track remaining to our south and east. However. A storm approacheth from the west which will interact with Sergio’s remnants and increase our chance for showers and storms. Forecast for Tuesday, October 9, 2018

It’s chilly out there this morning! (mmm chili) Our cool fall weather continues with temperatures more like mid November than early October. Only 72 yesterday. We rebound a bit to the mid 70s this afternoon and low 80s Wednesday into Thursday. Increasing clouds Thursday as the moisture from the remnants of Hurricane Sergio approacheth. Rain chances jump to 40% Thursday night and 60% Friday with Friday topping out at just 70. Lingering showers and storm chances at 30% Friday night and Saturday. A low from the west takes Sergio’s tropical moisture, assimilates it (resistance is futile), and showers it on the land. Saturday’s high in the mid 70s. A 10% chance Sunday upper 70s. Sunny Monday upper 70s. Stay tuned!

Forecast for Monday, October 8, 2018

Happy Columbus Day and Happy Thanksgiving for our Canadian friends! I always have a nice Italian meal to celebrate Columbus Day and for Canadian Thanksgiving? Maybe a stuffed goose! The weather sure is feeling Fall’s chill. It’s in the mid 50s on the deck this morning (mmm chili) and the coolness will stay with us for much of the day. Our low is spinning in northern Arizona making its way slowly to the east. Close enough for a chance at a few showers today and a high only near 72. The chance for showers all but fades tonight with a low in the low 50s!

Sunny tomorrow and gorgeous with a high in the mid 70s. Near 80 Wednesday.

Looks like we’ll be getting in on some of the moisture from the remnants of Hurricane Sergio by Thursday. Chance of storms 20% Thursday with a high near 80. 50% Thursday night low 60s. 50% Friday mid 70s. A storm approacheth from California just in time for the weekend may wrap up some of Sergio’s moisture and give us a chance of storms through Sunday. 20% Saturday upper 70s. 10% Sunday upper 70s. Stay tuned!

Forecast for Sunday, October 7, 2018

Fall is arriving on southerly breezes 10-20 mph and gusty today with a chance for showers through tomorrow. Only 77 this afternoon as a cold front moves through the state. The unsettled weather behind the front will give us a chance for showers and storms this afternoon (40%), tonight (50%) and tomorrow (30%). Low 70s tomorrow and low 50s Tuesday and Wednesday morning! Sunshine Tuesday and Wednesday with highs recovering to near 74 and 80 respectively.

Still watching moisture from Sergio for a chance for showers Thursday, Friday and possibly into Saturday. It’s not a lock, but still looking like it could. For now the forecast is saying 40% Thursday mid 70s. 40% Friday mid 70s. 10% Saturday upper 70s. Stay tuned!
